I'm not entirely sure how to do this but hey, I'll give it a shot.
Hi all. I'm Spart117MC but you all can just call me Spart. I joined the forums a little while back after I decided I wanted to share some minimalist posters that I'd created for Sunrider. Before then I did a bit of lurking when the Sunriver-verse had me somewhat hooked and I was looking to write a little something for it, a potential fanfic which in turn expanded to include three potential spinoffs. I did a bit of reading around in the wiki for research and ended up making an account and doing some housecleaning there.
I've done a bit of a lot of things. I religiously played Halo Combat Evolved, beginning my tradition for every Halo game since; never play multiplayer without having finished the campaign, first on normal, then on legendary. My first interaction with internet communities was back on forums for C&C fans, TibWeb. I started writing there participating in an RP (I botched that up massively). Moved on to Project Perfect Mod and made some personal mods using community made .shps and voxels for Red Alert 2 and Tiberian Sun (.ini files on Notepad; couldn't do that now, Notepad++ has ruined me). Made some maps for Halo CE back and even put one on Halomaps.org (god I just remembered Xfire). Did a bit of mucking around with Starcraft modding. The most that I learned from that was the engine was temperamental as hell. Later on I spent time at RelicNews for Homeworld 2 and Company of Heroes mods. Years after its release I finally got around to Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3. Proceeded to blow a gasket and began planning a raid on Bioware, stopped when I remembered that the most threatening thing in my arsenal was an N-Strike ECS-50 Stampede. Drew a bit and wrote a bit for the Mass Effect on DeviantArt. Started using GIMP at around this point to touch up the drawings I put though my scanner. Got into college just as I got hooked on XCOM. Learned to use Blender to help make comics using New Vegas which went up on Nexus mods (their Fallout New Vegas site of course).
Offline I've lived in three different countries. The US (primarily), two years in Malaysia, and one in South Korea. I've been through the LAUSD school system (fucking budget cuts man), attended a semester at a Catholic High School (no skirts but short shorts wth?), went to two international schools (British curriculum), and am now a part of the holy-fucking-shit-why-is-everything-so-expensive-i'm-going-to-die-penniless-like-the-guy-who-invented-vulcanization-and-in-ten-times-more-debt- college crowd. Currently I am a PoliSci major (yay for scum sucking politicians).
I'm a fan of nearly all genres (except horror because fuck horror
I am not finishing Dead Space 2 and you can't make me!) though usually I learn towards strategy and shooters. To tell the truth I'm somewhat on the fence regarding Visual Novels and their derivatives such as Kinetic Novels. Then again I have a pretty high standard which so happens to be my all time favorite video game, Bioshock Infinite. I have, honest to god, written essays on this damn game so please don't get me started (seriously, it was a final for a lit class). I love Mass Effect for its characters and universe. Halo's got a soft spot in my heart (only the ones by Bungie) for its character. Spec Ops: The Line is just so fucking smart and such an amazing commentary and is literal art. I could go on but I've spent a few hours on this intro and I should really finish things up.
So, I like long walks in the park... Kidding. Firefly is the best, SG-1 is super fun, SG-A is good, SGU never happened, BSG is a mindfuck, DS9 is the best Trek other than TOS, the MCU is super awesome, Castle is amazing, Elementary has the best Holmes second only to RDJ, White Collar was fun but then again the later seasons never happened so whatever, Hogan's Heroes is hilarious, so is Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Star Wars Rebels has potential, Justice League was the best animated show ever, Rick and Morty need more seasons, Community needs a movie, Leverage needs more heists, The Pretender is something I need to finish, so is Psych, Generation Kill was interesting, Band of Brothers was inspiring, The Dresden Files is a terribly inaccurate adaptation or so I am told I don't know because I'm reading the books, Hot Fuzz for best buddy cop movie ever, Frozen melted my heart, Spaceballs makes me laugh every time, Han shot first, RvB for the win, RWBY is great but Monty is dead

, and I can't think of anything else...
I guess anime is my guilty pleasure.
A Certain Scientific Railgun, Log Horizon, The Devil is a Part Timer, Assassination Classroom, Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet, oki'llstopnow.Anyways, if you managed to read though at wall of text, thank you, and sorry, and it's a pleasure to meet you all. And again, sorry.
