Apparently, Rev was rolling a dice every time I was hit, randomly choosing where the action was going. A few times, it went on Mrgw, but he was being shielded by Merne - basically, he decided nothing would happen, at that point.

Did you read what Jynx said above MerGew?  Basically I used the roll dice feature of 1 to 16 for determining "randomness".  In the case of the one night where I poignantly told you that Izaya 'was the man', that was because you were chosen randomly with the dice a few times.  Yes the nexus works on nonmafia but considering nothing would happen since you were shielded by Merne, I decided what the hell, might as well 8)  It was a much flavor as it was parity for the sheer amount that Mafia was asking me clarification questions.  At some point, people just need to "play on and find out". ::)  Not matter, it worked out in the end.

As for how you died? Well you can thank Johnny for that.

Mio was pissed. Extremely pissed. Like ‘Hell Hath no Fury’ sort of pissed. Like so pissed, one could see the steam emanating from her face sort of pissed. Sure she wanted sometime alone to calm the pain in her heart cause by Revon, but she couldn’t help but love that idiot - no matter what he caused.  Wasn’t that the true meaning of being his beloved waifu? In some way she knew that he would never purposely hurt her, simply he acted without realizing the consequences of his actions. And yet….

Who does that bitch think she is trying to take my Revvy! When I get my hands on her, I’m gonna tear her whole damn head off! But first, I need a partner who can get me close to those two., Mio thought.

“Helloooo! Me’lady Mio, we are almost to Titor’s house. Are you sure this is a good idea? You don’t want to think about choosing another candidate?,” said Y Buy.

“No. Not at all. If Titor-san is anything as fabulous as you say he is, he’ll do just fine in helping me bring Revy back to me.” She says matter of factly.

With a salute, Y Buy continues, “~Hai, hai. Just don’t go too overboard ok? I have other people to visit after I drop you off. Nachi, anything on your scanners?”

“Negative.” Nachi remarks.

“Excellent. There’s Titor’s house. Approach with caution, we have no idea who is watching…,” says Y Buy.

The three individuals sneaked into Titor’s backyard, cautiously avoiding the windows and doors. Carefully they made their way towards the doorbell… and promptly rang it.

sfx: *Ding Dong!*

Stopping to admire his own reflection in the mirror when he heard the door ring, Titor calls out to Cherche. “Cherche dear, can you answer that?” After all Titor was too busy training for some serious business -  priming himself. Though he grimaced with pain as she plucked his eyebrow and waxed his chest, he would endure!  In the upcoming weeks, he had a masculinity duel with Duke, and he intended to WIN.

“Sure...” Cherche responded in a singsong voice.

Ever since he returned from one of that party with his friends, he’s been strangely self conscious whenever Duke sends him something… I should inquire about this later…

Cherche opens the door whe-

With a grace, Mio bows deeply. “ Excuse me for interrupting your evening! I am Mio Akiyama and I need your body!”

Cherche simply blinks in confusion. Who the fuck is this? Oh… her… Mrs. Dinosaur Slippers… right…

Blushing brightly as Mio sees her mistake, “Eh! I’m so sorry madam, I require the assistance of your man in order to obtain...I-I- I mean save m-m-mine!”

Frowning,“Please. Just explain slowly.” says Cherche.

As if clockwork, Titor-san appears behind his waifu. Oh? We have visitors? Ms. Mio? YBuy?

*** *** ***

“So sorry Johnny, but we really need you to help us save Revvy from the demon princess ‘Rias’.  You just need me to take Ms. Mio here to Revvy...and that’s it. I’m sure that once the two of them reconnect, things will begin turning back to normal. Nice, quiet, peaceful, and wonderful Waifia again~ After all, nothing bad ever happens in this town! Of course I believe that there will be a lot opposition. I know that Imca, Akame, and Chifuyu are certainly under control, so it will be difficult. However, helping Ms. Mio might be the only chance at stopping whatever shenanigans Rev has in mind. Surely Ms. Gremory will be waiting for us. So… Ms. Mio will require a minor wardrobe change to hide her identity. Eh, we were hoping you could provide this..” grumbles Y Buy.

Spoiler

“Oh is that all? I do have that one, Marina Wulfstan Cosplay outfit I wore last Comicon. That should suffice. But you can’t win just with just the three of you.” responds Cherche.
Spoiler

“Oh I have many skills up my sleeve. I’m an expert Tracker and Hider if you didn’t know. I’m so good at hiding, I can slide unnoticed near a person at night. It’s a useful skill when your Revvy likes to hide certain… items from me. Then I sneak up behind him and… ,” bows Mio.

Checking his watch with a frown,“Uh, Ms. Mio, I must be off now if we wish to gather more reinforcements. To answer your question Ms. Cherche, I’m searching for others that will aid us to fight Rias Gremory. Thank you both so much and have a wonderful evening!” says Y Buy.

As the entire story and plan unfolds before you, you strum your own guitar to a melancholy melody and think, It’s sad to see a bosom friend become a victim of his own attractiveness…

Leaving through the window, Y Buy admiringly looks back at Titor-san, CLEARLY the protagonist of this story - “Good luck  Ms. ‘Invisible Woman’. Let’s do our best.”

Spoiler
Your “waifu” (intense GM observation coming your way as to not get into any shady business!) is Mio Akiyama, Invisible Woman (Hider/Tracker). Shy, timid, and totally avoidant of the spotlight, your “waifu” is demure and likes nothing more than to fade away into the background. Sweet of her, but also quite possibly advantageous. At night, your “waifu” may follow another player unnoticed. You will receive a list of all players targeted by your target, but will not learn of what they did. Alternatively, Mio may hide behind another player at night; any action meant for you and your “waifu” will target them instead. You are TOWN-aligned and win when all non-town aligned players are eliminated. Good luck!

I made Mio do cosplay . I fakin won the game before it even started.

The nyan pimp don't need no lame cottage in this dis-topia. :P 8)

Spoiler
NOTE: UPON RECEIPT OF THIS PM, YOU CANNOT POST IN NIGHT 0.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzxT0zIRLUY

The night was positively lovely. The moon was out and a red glow cascades all across the land… wait, what? You suppose that red light denotes something important happening, but as you ponder it meaning, you simply blink out of existence. You aren’t sure how long it was, one minute, an hour, a day, but one thing is apparent: Just like Tupac, youz gone dawg! Fortunately, much unlike the career of the illustrious Wayne Brady, you make a comeback~ You eventually materialize….and yet, things FEEL different.

The cool breeze blows through your yukata and into your face. In the distance, fireworks illuminate the sky. Yes. It’s all coming back, you have BUSINESS to attend to in Waifia today.

Far from the cottages you sit waiting for your escorts to arrive and apparently, today is your lucky day. Unlike most of your fellow mates, you have a plethora of young (but extremely strong and scary at times) women at your side at all times. Wrapping a feather boa tightly around your neck, you begin to think: Is there no one who has more beauties than you? Probably. *GM coughs the Waifu Emperor himself* But do YOU care? Not a bit. You breath in deeply and smile. Today you’ve heard that yet another beauty will join your harem today and the anticipation became unbearable. Hearing the laughter of the ladies, you turn and find Ms. Suzume, Lucy, and Misaki smiling as they see you.

Truly this was a great day! The gushing sound of the wind picking up makes you all turn and face a portal (blue of course) opening. You were waiting another one of your beauties to show up, is this her? Once your luscious Revy (female version) comes, it’ll time to head home with them and-

Y Buy: “Aahhhhhh!”

Sfx: *Cruch!*

You open your eyes dazed, but fortunately your ladies help you to your senses. You slowly move your body and see a man in a kevlar suit. It was Y Buy.

Great. You think. Not him again. Everytime he shows up, someone dies. Rubbing your head you look around to find the person you were REALLY looking for, only to find that your number of waifus had not increased.

Y Buy: “Eh, if you’re looking for another one of your Waifus… ummm, they aren’t coming. It’s just me. Wait! Before you say anything, let me get you up to speed on the situation back in Wafia. Well at least in town. Rev’s gone crazy with some demon princess and now we’re screwed if we don’t stop his lust for power (and I suspect the demon princess…). I need you and your Waifus here to aid me and Lady Mio to take him back. Please.”

Before you can respond, Y Buy reaches for his earpiece and panics.

Y Buy: “Eh! Gotta go! Oh and my old team is after me! Oh wait, you don’t know them. Uh, just be on the lookout for people looking for me! Bye!”

Y Buy runs off into the forest towards the fireworks before you can say anything. If people were after Y Buy, what would they do to YOU if they found out that you were helping him try to bring Rev back to his senses? Standing up, you turn to face your Waifus. All three of them.

Lucy: “Oh dear, it seems that the town is in danger again. Hmmp. Maybe this time instead of going alone, you should take all three of us!

Suzume: “That’s right! The three of us can help you and your friend with our powers combined! Just tell us whose power you’d like to use each Night and we’ll go to work!

Misaki: “Alright, I’m first then. Hmmm. I guess I don’t have a power per-se, but with my authority as the ‘Student President’ I can force people to say things a certain way, or Restrict what they say. I guess that counts.”
Spoiler

Lucy: “Well it’s pretty damn obvious what I can do. My new skills as a ‘Keymaker’ will allow someone to get out of sticky situations. They can open just about anything! I’m just awesome that way!❤  If someone gets trapped or finds a treasure chest, my keys will open them up lickety split.  Whoever you give a key can keep it until they use it - which it then magically goes ‘poof’ ~
Spoiler

Suzume: “That leaves just me! ~Fu fu! Using my skills as a kunoichi I can watch others at night! That’s it!
Spoiler

You smile and immediately don your favorite hat. Truly these girls were powerful; clearly your future enemies should learn to respect yer authority! Afterall, you don’t like doing it - but Pal won’t hesitate to smack-a-bitch if they get unruly! Fo realz yo! With your pimp hand strong ~ you crack your knuckles and twirl yer (non-sword) cane before taking the ladies on a stroll towards the Town of Wafia.
Spoiler

Spoiler
You don’t have a waifu, you my friend have a harem, you are the NyanPimp! ;) Like a jack-of-all trades, each one of your ladies has a unique power that she can perform once at night - only you need to choose which lady you want to spend the evening with! Good news at least, they aim to please 8) Lucy makes keys at night (Keymaker), Suzume watches other players (Watcher), and Misaki enables random post restrictions (Post Restrictor). Noteworthy, you feel that if you are able to accomplish some special feat, your other girl Revy might even make an appearance~  You are TOWN-aligned and win when all non-town aligned players are eliminated.  Good luck!

A small booklet with the caption "Admiral's WF-02 Log" lies on the floor. Looks like nobody noticed it until now! Will you open it?

Spoiler
My name is Kana, Admiral Kana, and I'm an officer in the Naval Base. I like flat-chested women and enjoy reading ero-doujinshi with twintails books about naval history in my free time.

Even though I don't exactly know how it happened, there's a day I'll remember as long as I live: the day when Waifia 2 started.

Operation codename WF-02 was a critical conflict full of mystery and treason, so it's likely that I died before someone gets to read this. Thus, I hope that the findings listed in this document will be useful for teitokus in the future. If this manuscript is found by a civilian, I ask him or her to deliver it to the nearest IJN post.

After Operation codename KANCOLLIA-01, which proved the kanmusu capabilities in order to succesfully operate without supervision and rescue me, my work consisted in managing the Naval Base's reconstruction. It was a hard and monotonous task and the poor girls barely could cope with it.

One day, a loli Destroyer intern handed me a telegram from Revontulet. I don't know how it arrived and now that I think about it the loli Destroyer didn't appear in our database.

Apparently, my new orders were approved by the Admiralty Code and consisted in patrolling Waifia Town's port and coast, so I called Aircraft Cruiser Tone and we set sail on board the Tanaka while her sister ship, Chikuma, escorted us on board the Kensuke, 50 nautical miles behind us.

The estimated time of arrival was 0500 on Day 1. The weather was calm so I took a look at the stars in the night sky.
Suddenly, I saw a blinking point of light above the horizon. 6 seconds on, 9 seconds off, 6 seconds on, 9 seconds off... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) There was no doubt, we were approaching Waifia Town's lighthouse. We were entering the port when I saw a UFO that turned out to be Sanya V. Litvyak, a Witch from Orussia specialized in detection, communications and night patrol and combat. I followed her signals and got ready to dock the Tanaka when suddenly something exploded on the back of my head and I fell unconscious. I'm still not sure if somebody hit me on the head or if the Tanaka suffered an internal explosion. I didn't know what happened to Tone until much later.

The next thing I remember is waking up in a dark room. My ears were ringing and my head hurt horribly like it was about to explode.

A shining red disc was looming over me... blood moon... No! An eye?

"Greetings, Admiral." said a voice with a heavy German accent. I also heard several beeps and rings, not just inside my ears. They were monitoring my vital parameters.

"Looks like the neural implant's installation was successful. Welcome aboard."

"An implant? I never asked for this."

Instinctivelly, I tried to stand up, but I was tightly tied to the bed with several straps. The beeps representing my pulse got faster.

"Have no fear, Admiral. I'm not here to hurt you."

"Who are you? What do you want? Intel? What if you're willing to torture me until I lose my right hand?"

"There's no way we would do that to you, my dear friend!" Revon entered into the room. "How would you be able to... enjoy your 2D waifus otherwise, if you know what I mean?"

"Are you responsible for this, Rev? Who is this woman? What does that neural implant mean?"

"You mean this little thing?" Rev answered while holding a small chip.

"Don't worry, it's mostly harmless! We use it to gather non-personal data about what you see, hear and think. It also includes a program that detects devious thoughts or behaviors against my interests and reacts consequently, but I guarantee you that it's not dangerous for your health during the mission."

"What do you mean? What's that mission about?"

"Oh, it's simple. I want you to kill all your friends."

"Madness! You're insane, Rev!"

"Of course not! It's not like you're supposed to do it on your own!" Rev answered. That's not what I meant with 'madness', but Rev went on anyway. "Jynx, mrgw and Duke will work together with you and... I guess your personal assistant already introduced herself, right, Fräulein Bodewig?"

"Laura Bodewig herself! Why would she work for Rev? There was no trace of wooly!" I thought.

"Wooly isn't here because we didn't invite him. He's just one of your targets... Yes, we just read your mind to answer your question. It's quite convenient, isn't it? Now we will introduce you to your allies and their 'waifus' for this mission."

I was too afraid to ask about Tone. Perhaps she managed to escape or ask Chikuma for help... Shit! If Rev knew what I was thinking about...

However, they didn't seem to care at all, so I wasn't sure if I should be happy for Tone or fear the worst.

I was brought into a room where my new colleagues were waiting. What a pitiful image! Three weakened and helpless men with a scar behind their ears. "More implants!" I thought. Then I noticed that my looks were most likely pitiful as well. How did we get into this?

"This is madness. This is fucking madness, Rev! What do you think you're doing?" obviously, our mission was doomed to failure. Everyone would be expecting me to appear with a ship girl companion the next morning.

"Don't worry, we anticipated that. Fräulein Bodewig!" Revon called.

"Guten Morgen, Herr Admiral!" Laura's shape and voice changed suddenly. I've never seen such a disturbing transformation in my whole life.

"We still need to adjust a few parameters, as you see, but we expect it to work as expected in a few hours." Rev smiled.

We spent the rest of the night as prisoners.

***

I started Day 1 in a traditional chalet. I felt drowsy, so I had a cup of coffee and went out to the balcony in order to look for an escape route... Propaganda pamphlets about a concert in the town's square filled the streets, but I decided to ignore them and try to get out of this fabricated paradise. The ring I felt behind my left ear was horrible.

"Your will does not belong to you anymore... Learn to interpret your orders correctly, Admiral..."

I had no choice but go to the town's square. The streets were full of security cameras and I had a hard time keeping balance and walking straight because of my damaged ear. I still hear a slight ring today as a sequel.

Walking past the train station, I saw Rev on the railway platform.

I got into the town's square and saw Akatsuki, a loli destroyer that was standing next to Meta and my first thought was to ask her for help. Maybe we could use her radio to contact Chikuma! The implant stung again on my skull's insides.

"Keep acting normally, Admiral..."

They wouldn't me allow to ask for help, so Akatsuki and I just talked about irrelevant stuff until music coming from a stage interrupted us. I took a look at the stage and saw Sendai and Bismarck dancing... with Laura!

"If you don't act according to the plan, these two girls might have an accident..."

I was being blackmailed, so I couldn't do anything but act normally and pray for the girls to notice what was happening and help me without getting killed.

The farce went on until a winnebago appeared and destroyed everything. Ramiel shot a massive EMP wave that made me feel heat in my ear. Good! The implant melted! The time has come!

I ran towards Akatsuki and crossed the town's square incredibly fast, I still don't know how, given my ear's state. I dragged the girl into a narrow alley and grabbed her by her shoulders.

"We don't have much time, Akatsuki. Please, don't be afraid and listen closely! This is very important."

At that very instant, I saw a reflection in the loli destroyer's eyes. Is that Laura? I didn't expect her to get here so soon! She would kill me right away if she overheard me, so I had to feign being a lolicon to save my life... and it worked!

Laura punished me using a wrestling headscissors technique that knocked me unconscious, by I managed to survive.

***

Night 1 was pitiful. Bismarck, who was suffering from alcoholism at that point, got drunk and we had to tow her back home.
Nobody died that night and the next day started just like Day 1 ended.

***

When I woke up on Day 2 my head kept hurting and I had a bandage behind my ear. They had put a new neural implant to replace the molten one while I was sleeping. Laura greeted me and told me that we were supposed to go to school, so I decided to play along. It's not like I had a choice, but the German girl seemed to genuinelly enjoy going to school. I guessed she didn't have a proper childhood as a soldier. Bismarck was knocked out by the hangover and Sendai was just unaware of the whole situation. Good for her, but she was still locked in a golden cage.

Class at school was totally irrelevant, so I had some time to remember my old mentors. Good men, good times. Suddenly, I saw a familiar yet suspicious girl. I went out to ask her a few questions, but I saw the motorized mikos entering the school at that very instant. Oh, shit!

***

Night 2 was terrible since the first victims died. Cynthia's husbando, killed by Duke and Hikage, was one of them. Wooly, who got shot in the head, was the other victim. Wooly had been a great mentor for me. For Laura, however he still was her first husbando and true love. At that point I didn't know how this incident affected Laura, but she managed to hide her feelings well, that is, if she felt something at all.

That night, I also learnt how the motorized mikos work. This is very important and can be useful for other teitokus in order to tell them apart from the regular kanmusu and to fight them.

Meanwhile, Revon seduced Bismarck and vilely took advantage of the drunk ship girl. The poor kanmusu was crying when she got back home and said she was feeling dirty.

"It's not your fault" I said. "You can get out of this, Bismarck, and I'm here to help you. They fear you, the pride of the Kriegsmarine! That's why they want to nullify your willpower. Remember Herr Otto's words and don't give up!" From that point on, I focused on supporting my captive kanmusu while avoiding our team's meetings. However, Laura took care of everything during my absence and the team's agenda kept going on. My task was reduced to act as Laura's puppet, her public face responsible of confusing my friends.

***

On the morning of Day 3 I tried to take advantage of Laura's feelings towards wooly and her inexperience in naval warfare by asking her to start a conversation with Takao, the heavy cruiser's mental model, to force her into a making mistake and blow her cover. Unfortunately, Laura had already disappeared along with Bismarck, probably to lure her into drinking again.

I fainted again and then found out that the girls had already returned. Bismarck looked sober and full of determination. Did she experience an epiphany of some sorts? The girls wanted to play an RPG and forced me to choose a stupid role. Another day lost. To top that, I was turned into a rabbit and a feel of dread invaded me. I wished to not die in such a ridiculous form, I had to restore my humanity!

***

Fortunately, I didn't die during Night 3, but my contribution was irrelevant anyway.
My dear kouhai died, just like Elvis, who brought wooly back to life. I guess this made Laura happy, even though she would never admit it.

***

During Day 4, I was forced to distribute fake documents and blueprints in order to boost Laura's credibility and everything seemed to go as expected. However, the penguin became the center of attention and ended up in an oven. I also had one of the most ridiculous experiences in my whole life, but I must admit that the mrgw-clones' traps made us laugh. My butt hurt a lot the following night, but at least I was able to forget my misfortune for a short time.

***

A lot of stuff happened during Night 4 and I just managed to take a short nap. I was forced to work in the kitchen while more friends died.

***

I spent most of Day 5 asleep due to fatigue, so I barely could share a few false theories whispered to me through the neural implant. They worked quite well and everyone seemed to listen to me, but everything was useless in the end and one of our rival's lynching failed. At that point, that person became untouchable.

***

We lost mrgw, who just escaped death twice, on the next night.
I also took a peek at Noire, a goddess with twintails. Her beauty made my inner young self burn brighter than ever.

***

I saw more motorized mikos in the morning of Day 6. My kanmusu team approached them while I had to keep my act. I couldn't do much that day, so I took a look at Hiei's motorized replica and hope she didn't have a program for cooking deadly curry installed.

Meanwhile, recently resurrected wooly grew more and more suspicious. In the end, he was assassinated by his own friends at sunset. Personally, I felt ashamed for having suspected him when I learned that he didn't turn into an independent zombie. He was the wooly we all knew and loved all along.

***

Night 6 brought death to more friends. Laura tried to act normally, but it was obvious that there was something wrong.
Finally, the German commando's facade broke down. She started crying and hugged me tightly. It was a curious scenery, since the dreadful girl that could kill me at anytime didn't even reach my shoulders in height. "She's just a poor teenager child, lonely and afraid" I thought.  Maybe I was developing Stockholm syndrome at that point, but I really perceived honest sorrow in her heart. She had feelings, after all, and maybe she wasn't as bad as she looked like on first sight. Maybe she didn't have a choice but to work for Rev, like me? She didn't have a clue about what to do or where to go at the end of this. Wooly was dead forever and she didn't have a home nor a husbando to return with.

"Maybe... maybe I could get you housing or something. I know some people in the IJA and could recommend you to Akitsumaru and Maruyu."

The girl raised her head to look at me. Tears were still running down her face, even from her hidden eye. She looked at me for an instant and lowered her head again.

"Baka..."

I felt bad for her. She was vulnerable after wooly's death and maybe I took advantage of this, but this is what saved my life later on. That night, I also got wooly's key. Interestingly, I had just inherited both wooly's key and waifu. I used the key on the door called “Shrine Kanmusu Pool of Prosperity”. I thought Tone could be held captive there since I only had seen her once on a TV screen since we were separated. I opened the door and there she was. Happiness invaded me and I hugged her. I didn't want to let her go again. "Now I can die in peace." I thought.

This made me think. I remembered the two unfortunate sisters from the Naval Base.

These two fine young and elegant ladies could be considered the Yamato Nadeshiko living paradigm, but actually they're called 'faulty ships', 'engineering failures', 'Christmas-tree-pagodas' and many more pejorative names.

Bad luck stays with them forever so they're not used to living happy experiences. In fact, whenever something good happens to them, they tremble in fear, since their happiness is actually a bad omen. Every single present they receive is poisoned with the cruelest fate.

"Now I will die in peace" I corrected myself.

***

On the seventh day, I finally rested. I saw and heard lots of unpleasant things and at a certain point, I just chose to stop fighting and accept my fate.

I remembered Ooyodo and the girls in the Naval base. My last will in that regard was to have Ooyodo promoted to flagship and let her manage the base personally. She might not be a charismatic Admiral, but she's an extremely intelligent technocrat capable of pushing the base forward, fulfilling the daily, weekly and monthly quests in time... oh, and the events.

It didn't take long for Laura to shoot me in the head. The bullet entered through my occipital bone while I was busy helping Tone, Sendai and Bismarck escape the shrine. Fortunately, nobody saw them and everyone thought it was just me who was trying to leave.

I fell on the floor without even feeling pain. The bullet probably cut a nerve or something and made me lost sensitivity. Maybe my brain was already damaged by the implants. Bismarck, who was just getting out of the shrine, heard the shot and turned around. Our eyes met for a split second and the pride of the Kriegsmarine broke down.

"Don't cry, Bismarck." I thought. "You are a fully-fledged woman, strong and brave. You returned to the right path."

She saw the piece of paper containing my last will, took it and disappeared.

***

The next thing I remember is lying in the sewers in the dark of the night. Disco music was playing in the rooms above the sewers. Laura appeared and told me that the bullet she shot me with was made of deusexmachinium, a metal capable of reversing its lethal effects inside my skull. Did this mean that I really died at some point? Or was I just only mostly dead for a short time? Fortunately, Laura didn't need a bellows to revive me.

"Don't get a wrong idea. I'm still interested in that job in the IJA and I still need your recommendation. Now, stay here while I support Jynx from the shadows. Beware of the motorized mikos' leader in the meantime. She's extremely dangerous and may attack at anytime!"

Laura left and I kept lying on the sewers for a few hours and suddenly heard noises an echoes through the cold pipes.

"They killed the Admiral? CONFOUND THEM! I'LL KILL THEM ALL! W...Why would you do that? It wasn't supposed to end like this, dess" the sobs and the raging howls kept succeeding each other... and that 'dess'... It seemed obvious that the motorized miko had become unstable.

"Sniff... Sniff... Admiral, is that you? Yesssss... It'sssss youuuu... YOU PROMISSSED ME YOUR FIRSSSTBORN! Kongou... Kongou! You'll be mine until you give it to me... My... PRECIOUSSSSS..."

Obviously, this Kongou was just an automaton, so we could never breed a child. This meant that I'll belong to her forever... unless I didn't wind her up and escaped!

"Admiral... you'll wind me up everyday... If you don't, I'll ussse my lasst breath to take you with me to the afterlife, where we'll be together forever... Yesss..."

Kongou noticed my papers.

"A love letter, dess? DO YOU THINK THIS ISSS A FUCKING GAME!? LOVE LETTERSSS ARE FORBIDDEN!"

She destroyed my diary's original manuscript. Fortunately, I kept a backup copy inside my rectum. I advise anyone who might be reading this piece of paper to wash their hands, just in case.

After destroying my manuscript, Kongou approached me and I suffered horrors that nobody could even imagine. Let's just say that the motorized mikos' insides are made of cold cutting steel instead of... ahem... Let's say I really wished that Laura had actually killed me.

"Is this my penitence or just a cruel end to my existence?" I tought. The disco music silenced my screams and I passed out some time later.

***

It dawned at some point and I heard explosions above the ceiling. Did the conflict just end? It seemed so since the motorized miko turned into hibernation mode.

Laura appeared again, visibly infuriated. "We lost!" She dragged me out of the sewers through an outlet near the port.

"Good bye, Admiral. I wish we had met under different circumstances." she smiled sadly and threw me into a boat.

She didn't ask me for the promised recommendation, so maybe she wasn't helping me just for a job, after all...

***

At some point, a destroyer expedition found me floating adrift in the high seas. These destroyers weren't mine, so I didn't know them.

"Who goes there?" asked one of them.

"I'm Kana, from the Tanaka."

"Commander! Thank goodness! The Admiralty was worried!"

I was brought to their base, where Tone, Chikuma and Sendai were waiting on board the Kensuke.
They told me that Bismarck had travelled to her homeland in order to meditate and find both her true little sister and the Reich's best non-alcoholic Hefe-Weizen. Prior to that, she had handed my last will to Ooyodo and the rest of the girls, but fortunately it wouldn't be necessary to fulfill it. The base's repair ship Akashi extracted the bullet and the neural implants form my skull with great dexterity, thus returning me my freedom of action and thought.

I sent a telegram to Ooyodo announcing my imminent return to the base.

"Let's go back home, girls." I ordered Tone and company.

"Yay! Long live our skipper!" they cheered and we headed to the Naval base.

During our journey, we met Teruzuki and Kongou, who seemed much friendlier and less aggressive than before, so I wasn't sure if the was the motorized replica damaged by the salty sea water or the real one.

NAVAL BASE: PREVIOUS NIGHT

"Ooyodo-san! We got this document from Bismarck-san."

Ooyodo read the Admiral's last will about the base's fate and called an emergency meeting to inform the other ship girls.

"Can I take a look at these documents, Ooyodo-san?" asked Ryuujou and the secretary ship handed them to her.

Ryuujou's eyes sparkled evilly and she destroyed the papers!

"What are you doing Ryuujou? These were the Admiral's words!" Ooyodo exclaimed.

"Yodo, please, do you really think you're worthy of being Kana's successor? We all know how much he loved twintails. In the game of ships, you win or you die" said the flat carrier in her diabolical Kansai dialect. "Seize her!"

Souryuu, Murasame, Isuzu, Mikuma and more ship girls with twintails appeared and tried to capture Ooyodo and her supporters, who managed to escape using the power of megane, whatever that means.

The twintails coup failed and a civil war between the Ooyodo Megane Loyalists and the Twintail Brotherhood started.

Kana's return didn't improve the situation since some ship girls considered his last will to be definitive and he lost his right to rule over the base. Meanwhile, Jintsuu and Naka joined her sister Sendai to fight for the Admiral. Hopefully Kongou's sisters and the girls that fought for him in KanCollia would join him, too.

The war still goes on today while the conflict's main events fill the international press' frontpages.

Not the end. Merely the beginning of a new chapter.
The city burns. Furude Rika traces the distant light as it flickers over silent houses and deserted streets. From somewhere far off, shouts and shrieks echo like memories of long ago, before everything had fallen apart. The Furude heir stands alone, unseen in the dying light as the sun sinks below the horizon. She takes one last, quiet moment to stare down at the world lost to shadows, before turning away... and smiling.

Climbing up the pebbled path behind her is her loving husband, Elvis, carrying a backpack that he had continuously refused to admit having difficulty with, despite his pathetically slow gait. The blue-haired child laughs, innocently, waiting until the man sets the pack down and bends over to gasp for breath, before patting him on the head. The two stay like that for a time, watching the sun set over Hinamizawa, so similar yet so different from the war-torn Waifia that they would never quite convince themselves had only been a dream.

Rika glances around for a moment, searching for something- or, more appropriately, someone- and failing to find any trace. She hadn't expected any different. After Elvis and Hanyuu had returned from their journey, the goddess had begun taking long trips to distant places, both on this Earth and not. She never said what she was looking for, or if she were running away from something only she could see. Rika missed her oldest friend, dearly, but they had been growing apart for a long time, and she knew the deity would eventually strike out to find what she was missing.

Turning away from such thoughts, Rika opens the pack on the ground, pulling out several containers of food, drink, and rug to sit them on. After a minute, they have a full-blown picnic set up. Sitting down, she turns to her husband, tugging on his hand until he takes his place beside her.

Rika leans against his arm, feeling safe and secure in a way she'd missed for so long. His arm wraps around her and she's almost happy enough to cry. "Thank you," she whispers, voice carrying in the silence of the night, disturbed by the cicada alone.

"That's my line," Elvis responds, a smile in his voice. "You're the one that set everything up.. got the townspeople to do all this. It's just a birthday, not a holiday. And yet..." He brushes his free hand through his hair, moving locks from in front of his eyes, as his other caresses the girl's side. Even after all this time, he feels awkward. They had searched long and hard for the perfect outfit, so his bride could look exactly how she wanted for this night, and every glimpse nearly takes his breath away. The long, black dress drapes down her frame, outlining every curve of her body, dignified yet sultry, and he feels more than a little underwhelming even in his best.

He pulls her closer as something streaks into the sky, and he barely manages to ignore the bitter memory of red lights and AT Fields, as the first firework goes off. Rika turns to gaze up at him, her eyes shining bright and clear, and, in spite of the beauty of the iridescence above, he finds himself without any desire to look away from her. She smiles wider, a real smile, not the kind she'd faked for so long. There's a vulnerability to it that makes his heart ache. "It's the same, to me. The day someone so wonderful came into this world is a day worth celebrating." Her voice carries a hint of playfulness, fully aware that her words will make him blush, yet still entirely sincere.

Unable to resist, the man leans forward, lips brushing against the girl's forehead. It was all he could give for now, knowing full well that the club members were watching every moment from the shadows. It was more than enough, just to be able to feel her warmth again, and to hear her laugh, a cross of mirth and embarrassment. Anything more could come later, in their own home, at peace with each other and themselves.

More lights explode in the sky. From down below, the silent city comes alive, children, elders, and many other citizens standing in the streets or on balconies, watching the display. Music floats in on the wind, a soft, soothing melody, the tune one heard long ago on distant shores. In spite of himself, Elvis can't help but laugh. "This is... the song Teto played, when we visited." Rika nods, her hair brushing his arm softly. Elvis smiles, remembering the happy times he and his friends had shared. Twice they had been to Waifia, and twice everything had gone wonderfully. The horrible images that haunted their sleep, that often kept them up late into the night, that they could live with, because they had each other. The rest is easy.

It had been hard at first, coming back. Neither Elvis nor Hanyuu spoke of how long they had traveled, how many times they had tried to set things right. At first, Elvis had shied away from physical contact, and it had been nearly a month before Rika found him crying alone in their basement. At last, when she put her arms around him, he hadn't pulled away. Burying himself in her embrace, he had spilled everything in one long, bitter moment. The things that had happened, to both of them. How dark his thoughts had become, how hopeless he had been convinced their reality was, having lost the one thing that mattered most. The things he had done, both to protect them and when the anger had simply been too much.

Elvis would never forgive himself for his actions in that infinite week. Rika never blamed him for any of it. That didn't magically make everything all right... but it was enough to keep him alive, and to begin the healing process that carried on, months later. The path had been long and difficult, trying to reclaim everything they had before, but love, as it always had, guided them to better days. This night was a special one to both of them. Elvis turned physically twenty three, of course, but the true meaning held more importance than that. They had made it. Though treachery and betrayal, secrets and agony, they had fought, and came out stronger.

The festival goes on long into the night, enough explosions overhead to make some wonder if the town had blown its entire budget just for this. Of course, the adorable heir of the Furude household doesn't ask for favors often, and the Sonozaki and Houjou households approved of the idea without hesitation. The couple would always be grateful for their friends, standing beside them every step of the way, letting them know they were there even when things got bad, and Elvis sank back into his depression. They had kept in contact with their friends in Waifia, online, if nothing else. It was almost as difficult to repair Elvis' hesitation to reach out to them, as it had been getting him to open up at all. In time, he managed to think of them without remembering pain and bloodshed, and, slowly, he mended the fences that had never been broken.

As the festival winds to a close, the others get tired of watching. Rena storms into the picnic, managing to pick up both of them and squeaking about how cute they are together. Keiichi and Satoko help themselves to the leftover food, neither Rika nor Elvis terribly hungry. Shion and Satoshi are nowhere to be seen. Nobody mentions it, but everyone other than Satoko gets the impression they have their own picnic to attend to somewhere a bit more discreet.

Mion steps into the scene last, holding a bottle of fine wine. "Best in the entire estate," she informs, noticing their glances. "Most of you ducklings are too young for the stuff, but Uncle Mion won't tell anyone if you don't." She winks, and begins pouring small glasses full of the sweet-smelling liquid. Keiichi points out that she's younger than he is, and definitely shouldn't have the stuff, but he takes his glass just the same.

Staring down at his reflection, hair combed neatly and face settled into a smile that almost seems to fit, Elvis thinks of how different he had become since meeting them. No. Since meeting Rika. Since getting her back. This isn't his first drink. Far from it; he'd tried masking the pain in whatever alcohol he could find, during his long stay in Waifia. It hadn't worked well, but he kept up just the same. Now, he finds the idea of drinking any more to sicken him. A hand squeezes his, and he doesn't have to look to know that Rika has turned all of her attention to him.

The air seems to grow somber, even though their friends joke and laugh the way they always do. Elvis remembers everything, at that moment. The long, vicious debates, trying to get even a single person to turn from the path of bloodshed and ruin awaiting them. The long, cold nights, laying on a bed that ended up less empty than it should have been, too often. The way it felt to bleed out slowly. He watches it all swirl in the mirror contained within his glass, suddenly seeming so much heavier.

The mirages fade as he raises the glass, gathering the attention of those most precious to him. "A toast," he murmurs. They raise their glasses in kind, and he smiles, a broken thing, but happier than he had been in a very long time. "To friends," he finishes, before bringing the glass to his lips and draining the content. The others do the same, their chorus of voices lost to the man as he feels his wife's arms wrapping around his neck.

Her voice a whisper, for his ears only, she says the only thing he ever needed to hear. "I love you."

He wraps his arms around the girl, holding her as tight as he dares, a tear in his as he responds in kind. "I love you too, Rika." Ignoring the chorus of 'Aww's coming from their friends, he sets the glass down, and lets himself get lost in her scent and the feeling of her hair brushing his skin. Elvis will never know what brought them back together, nor what the future will hold, but none of that matters. He has Rika, and she's all he ever needed.

Hanyuu stares at the shard of light in mute disappointment. She had been traveling for what felt like years, though surely only a few days had passed since she last saw Rika and the others. Though part of her always ached when away from the girl, she had left knowing that her oldest friend was truly happy. There wasn't much she could do to help the couple, serving as nothing more than a painful reminder of what they had been through. Even though they had both forgiven her, and honestly seemed to want her around, it wasn't where the deity needed to be. A cacophony of thoughts race through her mind every time she watches them holding hands or whispering words of love.

Her own feelings aside, there's somebody else that needs her help. The woman had gone missing when everything had ended, or so she heard. Tracking down Arraxis' friends had been difficult, but necessary, the two being virtually the only beings who knew exactly what had happened in Waifia after her own part reached its end. While they had made some inquiries into the woman's location, themselves, and more than one bounty had been given her name, none seemed able to locate her. In part, Hanyuu is glad. Many wanted only to do the woman harm, and, while she could easily understand why, the goddess had felt something else in the brief moments they had been together.

Perhaps it was because she knew what it was like to be excluded, separate from everyone else, able to do nothing but watch. Maybe it was because she knew what it felt like to be considered a monster to those she wanted nothing more than to coexist alongside. She might just be lonely. Whatever the reason, she had started to search. Somehow, she had found clues that many others had missed. Subtle leads that oft amounted to nothing, likely put in place to send pursuers astray, but still an indication of existence. A confirmation that she isn't just wasting her time. She turns toward the next shard, not knowing what type of world awaits her, nor what dangers she might find there.

No, the only thing on her mind as Furude Hanyuu slips into the crowd below is the faint sight of red hair in the distance, the figure walking away. Just like the first time they had met, the goddess chases after that distant color, ever-so-slowly gaining ground as the crowd seems to part for her passage. Her breath almost catches in her throat as she stands, only a few feet away, from the one she feels certain she had come here for. Drawing a deep breath and collecting herself, the deity reaches out and tugs on the woman's sleeve. Rias Gremory turns around, the two locking eyes. Hanyuu gives her best, most peaceable smile, finally certain that everything will be all right.

Because everyone deserves a happy ending. I don't know if everything I put here will be 'canon' to the way things play out from here, but that's all right. I think, with this, I can finally be happy with what I've done in this game. Once again, thanks, to both Rev and WhyBuy, for doing all of this. I know there have been issues, but it was a genuinely good experience, and I'm glad it happened. It's been fun.

Thanks for the comments. I wanted to make my "good-bye" post a narration about the game from the Admiral's point of view (explaining his behavior in my earlier posts, for example), but it got longer than expected and the game ended before I got to post it, so I tried to adapt it to Rev's epilogue. Fun-fact: according to Rev, the Admiral was actually supposed to be killed by Kongou in the death scene. Unfortunately, this wasn't possible at the time, so Laura had to do it in an anti-climatic way. That's why I wrote something closer to the originally intended scene. (Then I just added random stuff to the epilogue.) ::)

I'm glad you liked it, guys. :3

I liked the moose bit. XD

Aaand that's the only part I didn't write. :P (It's just a generic filler for the online newspaper template, but it's funny anyway.)
