Two things I only discovered about FGO today:
  • You can use the “Line up” button on the Party Setup screen to shift the Support character and slot to the rear lines... That really would have been helpful to know in all those cases where the game forces you to use Support NPCs, when having your frontline being servants equipped with appropriate CEs would have made life so much easier.
  • While a pain in the butt having to close and reopen the game, doing so any time before the game registers your “next” turn rewinds you back to before you press the Battle button... And you can change the RNG seed for both the crit star allocation and enemy attack sequence, by simply activating any skill you previously didn’t use.

I am pleased with these results~

I'd wager at least half of my cute image collection is from Gamer~ The other half is too lewd not as fitting to post for the spirit of Nursery Rhyme, probably~

So I think I'm gonna start saving up for the summer banner~ Here's what I figure:

8 weeks = 48 quartz + 8 summon tickets
2 months = 10 summon tickets
Douji (Remaining) = 10 quartz + 2 summon tickets
3m DL campaign (if we get what Japan got) = 21 quartz + 1 summon ticket
1 year anniversary (if we get what Japan got) = 30 quartz + 10 summon tickets
Journey West = 7 quartz
Onigashima = 14 quartz + 17 summon ticket
Camelot = 16 quartz
200 logins = 20 quartz

They also got 10 quartz for 300 followers, dunno if that's happening here.

So that is 166 quartz and 48 summon tickets, enough for 96 summons. That's a 51.5% chance of getting Tamamo, and a 64.4% chance of getting Kiyo (Lancer), Bonny/Read (Archer), or Mordred (Rider), each. (97.9% chance of getting any 4* or 5* on rate up)

Yep, right before. Like, 1 week Camelot, next week summer. If it's like it was in Japan.

Well, in Japan Camelot came out on July 25, the summer event came out on August 11. They had 17 days to do it, which comes out to 4,896 AP if never capped, 2,210 if you only play with a 130 AP cap once a day. Camelot requires 1,622 AP to do (For comparison, US required 1217 AP to do, so Camelot is 33% bigger than US), so it was enough time for them. NA gave us 19 days for E Plurus Unum, Japan gave 12. So maybe they'll be giving us more time? I dunno.

I only finished America relatively recently, though. Haha. I tend to try and do the 40AP dailies as well.

Yep, May 31st for Journey to the West.

Here's how it works:

You start at mission 0 of the main quest.

To get to mission 1, you need talismans, which you can collect via bonus quests (1 per day), or free quests (unlimited). At the start, only the beginner free quest will be available.

Complete free quests and bonus quests to get talismans which unlock more story quest which in turn unlock more free quests. The free quests give drops of 3 items to buy stuff with in the shop.

Once you finish the main quest (Requires 1,285 talismans), and I think once the first week of the event is over (not sure if it's time gated or not), 4 more free quests will become available. These drop lotus flowers - the final shop - and these orb thingies. The orbs can be used to do more bonus quests that drop more flowers, along with the final quest that gives the lore.

Honestly, it doesn't look like too exciting of an event. But anything has to be better than bullying the banana 150 times.
