Which VN have you started reading? I'd imagine it's one of the ones hosted here, otherwise I'm surprised you showed up.
Now, a short intro to the VNs hosted here, and who makes them:

Gamecrafter Team, who are creating Project Nimbus
Love in Space (technically), who create the Sunrider series
and Resonant Blade (another technicality), who are (probably) creating The Eyes Of The Pure Hearted
We also have a spam thread and an image spam thread for all your random posting needs, along with several other topics which I suggest you browse to know of in entirety. There's also a smattering of roleplaying threads but don't get too worked up about them -- the biggest and most open one's been dead for a pretty long time.
I think that's about it! Feel free to hang out in the commbox as you please, sometimes it dies but there's usually someone else there. Aside from that, enjoy your stay! Mind the crazies, totally intentional spoopy glitches, and broken dreams bones.
