Also I have a new respect for Vaendryl, coding 25K lines of animations... Started going mad just needing to do 10K (and a lot of that was just modified!)
Sam made all the animations. I would've done the whole thing very differently. I did do the Melee animations, and those probably give an idea how I would've gone about things.

the file you need for the import into LibDay isn't the usual persistent file but a file actually called 'Sunrider'. just that, no extention. it should be placed in:
or similar

it gets put there by MoA and LibDay expect to find it in the exact same place. afaik, nothing is placed in the actual game folders. copying the game files to a different computer or for whatever reason losing your user files will therefore lose you the import.
in other words, it has to be the same computer with the same installation of windows and with the same user account or else the import will not work.

seeing as this thread is pretty active I'd just like to drop in and mention that we're hard at work adding english voices back into the battles at least. you can help test an experimental patch that features this by downloading it here

Namely that, by all appearances... it looks an awful lot like Kayto is dead and the Sunrider destroyed, or that if nothing else he's making a final stand. If so, then, even if there are more games in the setting, this would technically be the last "Sunrider" Game because no more Sunrider - unless it somehow survived.

Many ships have carried the name "Enterprise".

The battle you're referring to is the 2nd last one in First Arrival (or mission11 in script.rpy), though I usually just call it Wedding Crash. I agree with everything Marx stated and that's the general scheme you should follow.

Consider either lowering difficulty or redoing upgrades a little if still having trouble. Would suggest getting 120EN on Sunrider, which enables 4 hexes of movement and helps in getting it to the right edge of the map. Coupling that with 3 kinetic cost upgrades enables double kinetics per turn on Sunrider, which helps considerably in downing those Battleships fast. And you will need as many kinetics as you can muster to take down those Battleships fast, Sunrider's and Seraphim's.
Blackjack can contribute as well via pulse and lasers if you haven upgraded damage sufficiently but she'll need a ShutOff or Disable to do any significant harm.
Use Phoenix aggressively if you have enough EN upgrades but make sure she's back in flak cover by the end of turn 1 to reduce the likelihood of being destroyed by rockets/missiles.

You will quite likely have to deal with turn 4 and turn 6 reinforcements, perhaps also turn 8 reinforcements but the last batch of reinforcements at turn 10 should be avoided. So make sure you can get Sunrider to the edge by the turn 10.

As Marx said, we'll need your actual upgrade scheme to be able to comment better.

P/S - yea the last batch of reinforcements, or even the 2nd last batch of reinforcements don't need to be killed. You can try farming them on repeat playthroughs when you are more familiar with the game (and even then it's a difficult and risky task) but I think almost everyone probably tries to get to the edge of the map when playing it for the first time. That's what I did on my first try anyway so don't feel awkward about it.

I'm in the middle of upgrading my Sunrider so this is definitely useful information I'll get back to. Had an extra save point so I could redo upgrades if I ever needed to so I'm glad I thought about doing that. Thanks for the help.

Nope. Even after I changed the settings to VN mode so it wouldn't affect me as much it's still a 'practically impossible' mission. Reinforcements come at you when you think you're almost done with all of it. I'm starting to hate this part so much. I've been playing for 20+ hours and can't figure out how to complete this mission. I try to move my Sunrider towards the edge so we can warp but it's pointless because a ridiculous amount of reinforcements will keep showing up non-stop. I'm so tired of this. I think i'm going to call it quits for now. I've easily repeated the mission more than 30 times now and it's driving me crazy. Better I stop right now before I end up hating this fabulous game for real.

well, if even VNmode doesn't work for you maybe you'd be interested in a few cheats? I can help with that :) [insert QB reference]
game is supposed to be challenging but trying a mission for 30 times just isn't sane. let me know if you need a bit more divine intervention.

afaik they should've been sent out a long time ago. maybe you should ask in the merchandise section of the forum. never mind, that section has been removed due to inactivity. I don't think any merchandise is even left :o

Not merch, the Physical rewards from the Kickstarter campaign.

that's basically just merch though, right? except you pay for it in advance :/ excepting physical copies of the game, perhaps... not even sure those were promised.

the story overall doesn't seem too special, but the dialogue is pretty good and the voice acting is a lot better than you'd expect from an english VN. I was impressed.

last I played only the first chapter was available, which I think was expanded upon not too long ago. there was a combat mechanic between mechs that was pretty laughable even as a placeholder. I suppose that is intended to be overhauled later on, but no clue as to if it'll end up interesting.

the asking price seems very steep for what it has right now, but I think the game has legitimate potential and worth the price when finished - assuming they keep the quality consistent.

the biggest drawback is that best girl has no route because imouto. again :/
