In battle results same unit listed with different amount of reward: $80, $48, $31, then three more for $80 again: http://i.imgur.com/UkClKt9.jpg

I was testing something and needed to go through a "survive for 6 turns" mission (first battle in Helion system in Mask of Arcadius). I didn't want to actually play it though, so I set the game to novel difficulty and parked all units in the corner, firing vanguard cannon twice when there were too many enemies nearby.

General Discussion / Project Nimbus available on Steam (Early Acces)

Project Nimbus appeared on Steam in Early Access yesterday, and I'm surprised to see that there are no topic for this here yet.

First of all, congratulations, PentaX and all Project Nimbus development team. I wish your future sales to be big and players reception favourable (looks like the latter is good so far).

Now, if anyone already played the game, feel free to share your opinion here.

Skip all battles if difficulty is set to Novel.

Mod details:
Battle screen is displayed, but battle will immediately end with player's victory after interaction with any object.
Does not affect Easy, Normal and Hard difficulties.
Will not immediately end battle if battle save is loaded and difficulty switched to Novel after that.
Will skip some mid-battle story events (joining of Asaga, Icari's appearance as an enemy etc.)

This is an indie game about mecha fighting in space, which seems relevant for this forum.

Looks like fun little co-op game, but too retro for me. Maybe someone here will be interested?

I was testing my translation again by going through the game on VN difficulty.

In second mission any damage to Sunrider triggers an event of Asaga and Black Jack appearing. However it is possible, especially in VN mode, to destroy Havoc without taking any damage. This will lead to awkward scene of Kayto permitting Asaga to land on Sunrider, even though she isn't here yet. When player first accesses upgrades lab, there will be no Black Jack in the ships list, only Sunrider and Liberty.
In the next mission Black Jack will be present and after mission will appear in the upgrades lab as usual.

Game Play Balance / Far Port defence: Make Cullen a boss unit

I was disappointed that I wasn't able to personally sink Cullen's battleship during this beta's final battle and he got killed by Asaga in a cutscene. And I think I'm not alone in this.

How about changing enemy spawns in this mission to include him on a slightly stronger version of a standard PACT battleship? No need to change the following cutscene - just make him "retreat" after taking critical damage - like Cosette and Icari during battles with them. This can also make Asaga destroying shielded battleship with a laser more believable - it was seriously damaged just before, after all.
