Nah. There's more female members (Heinrike, GreyCat), but most of us are male.

Please note I said "most" and "active." There are several females on the forum, but with the exceptions gj named, they generally don't tend to 'live' here like the rest of us. XD

I'm hesitant to support these kinds of things given their track record, but the fact that they have a working demo at least puts them in a better position. Personally, I'd rather risk being a baka rather than being a backer, but I thought it looked like something some of you on here might be interested in so I thought I'd share.
Thank you for writing about us ^^ emm...why you want to be baka that backer

Cuz another dat western VN kickstarter.

Though there is one nice waifu i suppose...
dat Western VN? that mean..you thinking of us as US people? Emm..Igrasil Studio is part of MidandiJapan and our Studio based in Japan....so why Western? What that mean?

I rarely read details on kickstarter...

As it has been already mentioned yes, i thought this is some attempt make doujinshi by gaijins since kickstarter, episodic and non-typical drawings.
Doujinshi VN is not my thing usually, but there has been some good jap doujinshi like Boku wa Tomodachi
So i might take a look at your VN and Suzumi looks like waifu of my choice.

Regardless you should not be surprised if some might think that your project is western. Too non-typical.

Still episodic games are annoying. Gonna wait for full story

p.s. it is planning to go in steam: so not 18+?

p.s.s. i'm rude and etc. So don't you worry about it.

Ah, I see.

I hate to be the one to disillusion you, but I do hope to save you from any potential embarrassment. Most of the active members are male, geo included. >_>

Sadly it always tends to be like that when it comes to game and especially VNs.
I have irc chat about VNs and there is only 1 girl who likes otome games :D

btw, Kaoru is ojouu-sama taipu?

Sometimes even me gets surprised how haircut change waifu:

So you're the script writer (I suppose that's basically equivalent to "scenario writer" credits in VNs?)... Well, the details on the plot still seem a bit sparse, but it's easier for me to trust you now.

And don't worry about your English, you already spell better than some of the natives here. Overall, thanks for passing by; I can at least assure you you've convinced me to back the project (I was originally a bit dubious about it).

For the rest, as someone who has seen quite a few of this Kickstarters I think I can try to give some feedback on the Kickstarter itself:
-Mikandi Japan handled their Kickstarter very well, but still during the middle of the campaign they had various moments when failure seemed fairly probable; a key point to overcome that was how they managed to make both MangaGamer and Sekai Project (Arguably the 2 biggest VN localizers in the West) to promote their project. Cross-promotions in kickstarters are generally effective, because one of the problems with this kind of projects is lack of trust on the creators; if you reach to them through someone they already trust, this is diminished. While full-on cross promotion may be a tad overkill for this relatively small project, even something like Sekai Project tweeting your Kickstarter can give you more of an air of legitimacy. Even cross-promotion between indies can be effective. The folks at Mikandi Japan definitely realized it, so they can probably help you a bit with that as well.
-Maybe some more high tiers? Between the ones at 999 and the one at 215 there's a big jump, and considering there are already five people at the later, perhaps some extra tiers at 300 could convince them to raise even more? Attractive high tiers are always a good point. I suppose you simply need to look around, see what people wish and plan if you can make it. This always depends on what you can do, so just take it as a reminder more than an advise.
-Try to point out the fact that most of your team is Japanese a little bit more. While regrettable, there's a lot of prejudice (mostly unconscious) towards Western made VNs.
Why can only the evil have empires, power and majestic theme music? I reclaim the possibility of creating the Federal-democratic-free Empire! A (democratic) tyranny fueled by the Power of Love!

Nothing is wrong with making eroge regardless of its origin... It is just nowadays you always need to be careful with new games
As long as it is not simple moege without much of plot  ::)

Emmm so you like Suzu? Then when we finished her Beach Episode Version I will send you her here o(*>ω<*)o
Well, that is my first impression.
But i always need to get known girl better to know for sure,
i'll make a fair and just judgment once i'll get to know both: you and Suzumi-san.

Now, that's good

Hm... what is *that* taipu?  ???

I believe this prejudice against western made should come only from likes of mine who knows jap VNs pretty well.  ::)

Hi Hi Marx! Thank you for that is mean a lot for me and for staff.
Yes Mikadni told us about problem with KickStarter..so us KS is still mystery but we learning really fast ^^" lets hope we wont fail.
Em...we already talking with MangaGamers lets hope we will be fighting together ^^ but Sekai em? In my opinion they only support US developers ? I was many time when developers asked for they help and they never respond, we also asked no reply (⌣_⌣”) we aren't mad about it, we understand they point of view for them we are just "another" studio nothing all (⌣_⌣”)
More tiers? Hai! Working on that Marx!

Hmmm Ok then, we already written "Bloody Chronicles New Japanese Visual Novel" in title, you mean to add info in description?

Gosh this thread has gotten interesting, I might have to go and look at it properly now XD

The Bigfoot: Curse you penguins! I knew all that waddling and falling around was a bluff|woolyshambler: frankly i'm surprised the genetically enhanced mutant penguins hadn't shown up sooner. you could say i've been expecting them. |GreyCat: duke could be better at spelling, but he chooses instead to spend his time focusing on arse|The Meta concedes Penguins are better|Deeox2: Looked like the commbox collectively lost it. Nice.|Jynx: Yandere Duke scares me... A lot.|Deeox2: Hey. It ain't lewd. I'm just waiting for Duke to kiss me|Elvis Strunk: Silly Duke. I am the woman, you are the penguin.
